Third in a series. All the Henna and embroidery stuff was done freehand (and very painstakingly) in Photoshop. What's the female term for a Genie again?

Oh, net pic, and itīs not too cliche 12 I think the afford you spent doing all those details in doing the tattoos and embroidery was it worth completely, those details add a lot to the picture. Also the golden metal bits are very well rendered, the contrast between the sharp and reflecting metal and the soft flowing fabrics comes out very well.

Djinn are the males and djinni are the females, if I remember right

I wonder if their is a distinction in the terms used when it relates to djinn or genies as some call them. I will however state that your rendition of a female genie is very beautiful. Is that a cloud of sand she's sitting on? I love the tiara and the belt.

Im not an expert on the actual mythology/folklore of genies, but I am an expert on the DND multiverse. Heres how DND deals with genies; All of the following fall under the catergory of genies:
Djinn (singular djinni) - Genies from the Elemental Plane of Air

Efreet (singular efreeti) - Genies from the Elemental Plane of Fire

Marids (singular marid) - Genies from the Elemental Plane of Water

Dao (singular dao) - Genies from the Elemental Plane of Earth

Jann (singular janni) - Genies composed of all four primary elements.

DND makes no title distinction based on gender as far as genies are concerned. Feel free to email me regarding any details you may be interested in.

It is great, except the hand looks creepy, and the arms and the stomach look unporportionat.

There is no distinction of names when it comes to gender of genies however the type of genie does matter
