"What are you doing?"

Hikari started, and turned her head to see the man who had spoken. She hadn't even heard him walk up, and his voice had been so soft, she had been unsure if she had really heard it. But there he was, watching her with sad eyes that glinted purple in the dim light, his long black hair swaying slightly in the breaths of air. "I-I don't know," Hikari stammered, looking down at the railing of the bridge, hovering halfway over it.

From Shards of Light. The passage above is from the rewritten version which is as of yet not online, and probably won't be for some time.

Anyways, about the pic. His name is Munin, and he's a dragon (the dragons in my story can take on three different shapes, human, dragon, or a mixture of the two). And from the way my rewrite is turning out, I probably just spoiled the first five chapters.
