"Secret To Life" by Samantha L. Papworth

Rain droplets drifted away, with the movement of the forceful wind. Crystals of rain fell onto the soaked skin of ample warmth. It outlined the many curves and features of the creature, telling a story one wishes not to know. The trees whispered with delight to each other, their roots filling with the secret to life. The air smelt of a fragrance so glorious, so fresh.



The creature dared not move, for the sound of the thumping rain might slither into it's delicate ears. The rain became savage, and metal like droplets stung the creatures silky textured skin. Around the creature's feet formed exceedingly immense puddles. Growing in diameter every second that flew by. Rain descended in a vertical line down the creature's spine, dribbling along a prolonged tail, like that of a lion's and cascaded towards the ground.



Spilling from clouds heavy with rain, it showered down on everything in its path. Forming as pockets of life on rich green blossoming leaves. Landing on any surface, darting in all directions due to the impact. As the sparkling liquid washed away the creature's troubles and dreams, it realized that this was the one thing it had been searching for life!
