SciFi and Fantasy Art Harbinger of Ocean Storms by Kimberly Sides


	There are many possibilities for this. One is, Bringer of BAD dreams, in which case she's be a fairy. Another is she's a mermaid thingie that makes all the storms in the ocean. I think I'm going to go with the latter, but who knows. I'm still working on this, so suggestions and commentary are helpful! =) The photo used is me, slightly edited in photoshop. ;)

28 Feb 2003	Xaotiq1	Loading... Yeee-OW-ZA! Well, I don't really see an ocean there, please pardon my lack of observation, but either idea would work splendidly. The surreal backgound might fit the bad dream bringer better than the sea-creature, but she'd need some terribly powerful magic to give me bad dreams. Kimberly Sides replies: "Oh, really? I thought the blue swirlies looked kind of like waves. It seems like people like the dream scenario better, anyway. Thanks!"

3 Oct 2003	Pendragon	Loading... WINGS! Blue-silver hi-lighted half-hidden wings. Look at it in thumbnail view and the pattern can be seen behind the back and the factorial swirl. Wonderful picture.

20 Nov 2005	Toby	Loading... Really like it, the swirl on the right kind of looks like a vortice into the depths of an oceanic abyss. Guess some serious storms could come outta there!!!! Wouldnt wanna annoy her!!!! Great Piece!
