| 22 Oct 2005 | Jen | Loading...I love this series, and you did some great shots - but the wolf's shadow is sharper far away and more blurried close to the viewer, so it looks a bit... well, not too real Great pic anyway! Tracy L Cornett replies: "I love this series. And I know what you mean about the shadow, its actually purposeful. This series is meant to be a little more surreal/dreamlike than my normal straight realism. So for once its not all supposed to look completely realistic. Glad you like it. Thanks again!!" | |

This is the first out of the pics I’ve looked at that actually lookss.....real ^....^ Soz, I know it’s strnge, but I find that often drawings make fantasy stuff look more real than manipulated photos. Your stuff’s all really clever but I think a lot of it would look better in monochrome and this is the only one so far that actually looks like it was really happening. Something to do with the stylized way the wolf’s shadow is done. Very good. I love the way you’ve modernized a classic tale. ^-^
Soz about the critism but it is just my feeling. Tracy L Cornett replies: "No problem, everyone has their personal preference. Glad you like this one. " | |
