The name 'Nirabeth' was specifically searched for this character on the internet. I regret that I lost the site address. It was really helpful in this case for naming characters with 'fantasy' like names. I drew this as a female character of a 'never been written' story by a friend of mine. So far it doesn't seem like that there would be a story anyway. I made this about a year ago. Her character, suggested by my friend, is as a dragon Slayeress. Living in wilderness, and knowning the nature of fearful dragons, she is now, some what, a protector of the dragon world for a special reason. But to the human side of the story, she is still and will always be, what was inherited to her. A Slayeress. Done with pencil on paper.

You did this one very well. Only I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing good drawings in the anime style. She's so strong and dangerous and all, and then she has this little girl's face. Also, I commonly get the impression that since there is so much wonderful shading on this character, and anime faces are always rather blank, that the face is much less "real" than the rest of her. I know that's the anime style, but I was wondering: do you ever do realistic faces?

2 Farah 'Immortelle' Ahmad replies: "First of all thanks. I'm glad you liked it. As for anime style I only like it because from a simplest from of facial line you can create a vast expressive detail and for one thing, it always looks impressive no matter what. Liveliness in drawing. As for your question, yes I mainly do realistic work. In art that I have done so far, I made realistic my life. Only thing that bothers me most is getting good resemblence out of the subject. That happens very rarely. 8"

she's beautiful! so powerful, and she has such feeling surrounding her, you can tell she's a very strong person. I love it! If you ever find that site please tell me!!

2 Farah 'Immortelle' Ahmad replies: "Thanks. I'm still on the hunt of that website. It was like simple combination of simple names, combined with the names in the books on medieval fantasy, specially tolkien's. Well I will surely let you know.2 "

Hmm, yes, unwritten stories that have characters drawn for them. Story of my Loth page. And yes, I do go searching on the internet for meanings of names and pick ones that go along with the story and sound good...heheh okay now I'll talk about how good the piccie is. She really does look cool and I just LOVE that weapon. Her cloak/dress thing is also very stylish.

2 Farah 'Immortelle' Ahmad replies: "Hmm I see I missed this comment of your's Sadie. I go for the same thing for naming reasons. Sound and story. Thanks."

That's a great drawing. I like that she looks so young...and somehow very experienced.

2 Farah 'Immortelle' Ahmad replies: "Her story depicts that she IS young but darn experienced in every way from hunting to protection, battle and the like. Glad you have a deep eye for judging things. 2 thanks."
