This is a little work I've been doing for a project of mine. The inspiration for her, specifically was actually a great cause of annoyance. Recently at my 'place for higher learning' I was lucky enough to be locked in the cafeteria with a bunch of drama queens who more or less redefined my definition of 'annoying' as they made all of us listen to 'Lysistrata' the play. The actors didn't seem too sure why exactly the Athenians shouldn't have fought the Peloponessian Wars and were obviously pretty ignorant of the political climate between the Spartans and their allies and Athens and hers...

so anyway... I will spare you all who are still reading a full deposition of my feelings towards the Lysistrata project but ultimately the result of this hour long ordeal, I present Lysistrata, the succubus who would seduce not to fight...

Man I feel your pain. I had to read that play to for my Drama History class at my "higher place of learning". Your drawing really does some it up pretty well. But you do have to admit in the end the role of "animals to humans" transformation does leave an impact on a person and the fact that it is hilarious also helps. I'll just go and grab a pillow.....

This is a great sketch. I would love to get you to do a Japanese warlord in full regalia (i.e mask and bamboo armor). Have you ever done one? It would be cool to see with your talent.
