I must say that the way you shade his (her?) body is amazing... It seems as if there is some celtic designs hidden in there? *peek-a-boo!* Whether or not there is, though, it is a stunning peice!

HEY!!! The tree has a face! And it's screaming!?! Woah! Am I seeing things?? I love that the details in this picture tell a bit of a story... you cracked wings, the treeish-looking body of the snake... puts ideas in your head. But then you throw in a screaming tree!! Love this picture!!

1 Jennifer Rose Phillip replies: "nope there is a face..not very many people see it.or if they do , they dont comment on it 2thanks for the comment!"

ooh very neat. The shadings great. And I love the concept.

Oh my god!!! I love this piccy so much! Everything-- the fluidity, the shape of the head... I also love your shading techniques. Do you use tools or your finger or... what?

I agree with Kevin G. Hansen down there that some darker hues in the picture could really make it more dynamic. Other than that though... very cool.

:-) Jennifer Rose Phillip replies: "thanks 2i just use layers and layers of graphite...it takes along time...so it might look really simple...but it still takes forever to do 2...hence the lack of backgrounds "

Ha! That rocks so much. The way you shaded is wonderful. It's a weird texture that I can't quite place. Like water kind of, but not... KUDOS! And you don't need much a background with this one, it woult take away from the coolness of the dragon.

This is an awsome picture,I love your skills! How ever,I see the little creature the dragon is staring at,I just can't see what it is.And,is that a face on the tree?!Kinda creepy, but cool!

I absolutely LOVE this. I think it takes a LOT of talent to shade things and make it look 3D. And that little furry creature is SO cute!!!! I want one of my own ^_^

In my opinion, this deserves Mod's Choice. It is exemplary.
