"Conan´s Revenge" by James I. Fazio

In defense of the artists choice of steed, the typical draught horse, was for warfare, not farming. Given the weight of arms, armor, potentially barding, the lighter breeds lack both the endurance and strength to compete. They also lacked the strength for close combat. Arabians and other lighter breeds were archer horses, if used at all in warfare. The modern cavalry horse typically was a middle weight steed. On the artistic side, the picture is render quite well. Reminds me of the "Savage Sword of Conan" magazine that was published by Marvel in the 80's and '90s. I don't know the time frame between the drawings, but this horse is not as well rendered as the previous Conan drawing, but is a much better choice of beast.

Nice picture, though there are a few problems. First, the poor horses neck is a little scunched and could be lengthened, and second, would Conan actually ride a farmers' draw horse?

As I am a huge Conan fan, I must say I love your choice of characters to draw. Not only that, but this is a marvelous rendition of the character.

Great job! I like your art.but I think YOu still need a little more work on your horses. That is one of the sickest
dam horses I ever seen.He look like he might have aids or
something.And conan looks like he just got done taking a
massive poop. but still dude the pictures tight uknow.It better then what I can do....

Conan is huge so that is a monster of a horse.~
