| 21 Feb 2001 | Gitana | Loading...The unicorns are depicted wonderfully! Very realistic. The woman seems a little flat, though... No offence, I think the drawing is excellent. The horses are done free-hand? I think perhaps I can suggest some things for the girl... First, give her a liuttle more shape. She seems a little too skinny and long legged. Second, shading. Try to use the same technique you used on the horses. It'll make them blend togeather well. Anyways, keep up the good work. | |
| 23 May 2001 | Sunemoonsong | Loading...i would tend to disagree with the last comment. i think the woman is done very well. she seems to be everything that she is supposed to be, pure chaste and all that, but she also seems to have something of playfulness to her. i can see this girl, the way she is touching the horn, knowing she really isn't supposed to. one finger trailing its way up the horn, and sort of looking away as though she has done something she would consider well, maybe naughty. love it | |

How come nobody ever considers that the unicorn is actually a monster? He's a threat, the embodiment of the male principle that the virgin must meet and survive to become a woman.
Your picture does begin to approach the import of the pair at least! | |
