I personally don't see anything wrong with the proportions, but the back leg that is raised is a front leg. If you look into it, most four-legged critters are built so that the back legs are different than the front. A quick peek at a picture might be helpful,
Other than that, I really liked the sense of motion in this piece. Well, that and he looks like a pretty cool dude.
