The reason why you see alot of elven archers more is becuase as a race they are more dex oriented. Orcs are normally associated with big melee weapons due to their strength and build. I really like this picture becuase it is a change from the ordinary.

i have to admit that i asimilate elves with bows and orcs with... big melee weapons... Even though i'm not a big fan of orcos... this pic made me change my view... O_o Excellent picture, as always.

I agree that an orc archer could kick and elf archer's ass. And if anyone got close, orc are alot stronger than elvs and would jus wail on the enemy closest to attack at melee
