| 19 Jul 2003 | Crazy Mike | Loading...If my memory serves me as it should, i seem to recall that a bastard-sword is, by definition, a sword with a one-and-one-half hand hilt...so what you drew would just be a common broadsword...bastard swords are wielded with one hand, not two...or with a clasped hand grip, when they are wielded with two hands...perhaps i'm wrong, i have never fancied myself an expert on swords...and i'm not sure if a clasped hand grip would work with a sword...painful for the fingers, maybe...but whatever....anyway, you have quite the knack for this stuff... Tsune D. Orozco Toda replies: "I think youre right about the bastard sword. or "hand and a half" maybe the hilt is too long.... err I just meant the sword to look viking/babarian type... thanks for noticing. comment and compliment." | |

I truly awe at your talent, By the way i love orcs, and you do them warcraft/warhammer style thats how they should look like in my opinion. Tsune D. Orozco Toda replies: "comments must be due to that I am relatively new on the wood... I Like warcraft too, never liked warhammer because of economic reasons..."

I especially like those yellow scars on his shoulder (!), oh the details Tsune D. Orozco Toda replies: "wee thanks. had been a while since anyone commented on this pic. seems that the ones i like the most get the less comments.. odd thing.. anyway thanks. and im glad u liked it. i guess i have to do more "active" pics. and yeh i like scars colored differently. since i read that Viking berserkers and other kinds of barbarians used dyes on the scars and wore them as signs of pride n power."
| 2 Jul 2007 | Pavel Kovalančík | Loading...Hello another great work on the picture of Orc. His stance is full of rage . Same with expression in his face. What i really like are: the nicely made muscles (u re great), and specially those hands holding the sword. I always mess hands and i need lot of time for drawing them correctly. | |
