this is an acid dragon that breathes/spits acid instead of the nomal fire that you see dragons breathing.

the head is drawn in black ink & the body was drawn in pencil & then went over in black ink due to me not being very good at drawing dragon bodies - i know he looks a bit plain with out scales but this was drawn on 3 seperate pieces of paper and then pasted together in paint as i was only going to leave it at the head but decided to add a body & didnt have any a4 or a3 at the time ( i know excuses :D) i am currently doing this again on 1 piece of paper so might add scales & maybe some colour.

pencil 2H, black ink pilot drawing pens 1,2,5&8 (which are really good for me as left handed & they dont smudge)

Tongues really are a strong point for you aren’t they? Love this one again. Very interesting work with the black/white contrast on the head and overall a nice design.

nice work James. I am a "lefty" too- know what you mean about the pens smudging! I can actually draw and write with both hands, because i was forced by a mean teacher when I was a kid to write with my right hand. She thought it was evil to be left-handed! What a nutter.

:-) James A Watts replies: "thanks, really wow she is a nutter - i draw & write with left but use right when drawing in paint & stuff with my mouse... weird"
