| 14 May 2004 | Alicia | Loading...This is a really good drawing. I love horses. So this is supposed to be a male horse. Then u need to make the jaws a bit bigger. Males have alot bigger jaws then the females have. You did a very excellent job for your first time. I wish I did that good for my first time. Mine turned out looking like crap the first time i tried to draw one! I would like a bigger picture of this to hang on my wall in my room! Natalie Paquette replies: "Thank you for the advice - to be honest, I've attempted sketching a few horses in the past but every single one of my attempts were thrown out because I got so frustrated. So this was my first serious try, and I stuck to it until I'd finished. ^-^ " | |

| 27 Jul 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...seriously. Male horses jaw's aren't bigger than females. They have thicker crests then female, but the jaw thing is bogus. I hate it when people want to sound smart. Anyway, awesome drawing. I love the flow of the mane. I actually like its narrow face, it makes it look more graceful to me. Plus unicorns are supposed to be slender, lithe creatures. You've depicted that wonderfully. Male or not. Keep up the great work. Natalie Paquette replies: "Thanks. ^-^ .. actually, I would love to see a really meaty, strong unicorn, one that's based on a Freesian (sp?) or some jacked up draft horse - but I'm so bad at drawing muscles and at animal anatomy, I don't think I could draw one like that. >.< Ah well. So pretty, slender, ethereal unicorns will just have to do." | |
| 24 Aug 2004 | Amanda Littler | Loading...Awww this is so pretty i love it the way you have done the main and it finishes off the picture there it is shaded well and the horn is cool great pic keep up the good work Natalie Paquette replies: "Thank you. .. I didn't want to have to draw a whole horse body, and leaving an exposed neck would have looked awkward, I think. " | |
