SciFi and Fantasy Art The Elemental Dragons by Natalie Paquette

Lucy Andrews had this beautiful pencil drawing of two dragons circling each other, and she was kind enough to let me color them and put them against a background. ;) I'm not so sure I like the white dragon over the darker background (it makes for a weird edge to it), but besides that I'm happy with the results.

This is my first Photoshop-colored piece done with a tablet, and although in some ways it makes things easier, it's also a completely different way of coloring (my pen has varying pressure, which is something I couldn't do with my mouse) - and it will take some time to really get used to it. The background that you see is a modified version of a project I made for my Eastern Anatomy class last semester, showing all 5 elements in a yin & yang setting (night and day) - which I thought was a perfect backdrop for our two lovely beasts. (The background was done completely using Photoshop.)
