| 19 Jan 2008 | Glo 'the Bug' Bowden | ok! Let’s get the ball rolling then, shall we? What would you like? Is there a pic you want me to photoshop or something you’d like me to draw? -- I suppose I should get it out in the open right now, I have a really strange standard of what I will and won’t draw/color, just to warn. It mostly has to do with clothing and modesty. I don’t do nudes, and basically clothing must be in the "For the Strength of Youth" pamphlet guidelines of modesty. (For the Strength of Youth is a guide of standards from my church. It talks about everything from chastity to modesty to language to media, etc). So, to be blunt; no cleavage, no bare chest, no midriff, must have a capped sleeve at the least, must cover to maybe just above the knees but no shorter.
Gah! I know; I’m uber conservative. But that’s just how I roll, so basically it’s that ’er nuthin’. If you have a pic you’d like me to do that’s barely outside those standards, and will permit me to edit it a bit, I’m cool with that. (For example, if you go to my gallery, you’ll see a blue fairy I did with Chris Cunningham called "Breaking the Chain" --I added capped sleeves to that with his permission. You can compare it with the original in a link on that page).

As for what i’d like *rubs hands together excitedly* Have you ever heard of "Trench Coats and Love Notes"? It’s a story that I’ve got posted here on elfwood. (I’m signed on through my writing account right here, so you can go straight there by clicking my name) What I’d like is for you to draw a favorite character or scene from Part I or II. Well, it can be broader than that; your favorite character/scene from anywhere in the story works for me, but I don’t want to make you read the whole thing if it’s not your cup of tea.
Now, I don’t want to limit your art, you can portray them however you see them, but most of the characters follow the same standard of dress I just expounded to you if you catch my drift. Especially the four main chars, who are pretty much just avatars of my friends and myself, and we all dress that way so it would only be in character for us to do so in the story. (Exceptions would be if one is playing sports. --The ballet teacher, Agent Featherlite would obviously wear a leotard and tights, probably sleeveless. And if you get as far as to read about Hoodwink, well... i can’t constrict you there. She’s /supposed/ to be scandelous.)
| 19 Jan 2008 | Glo 'the Bug' Bowden | Gee, I hope these guidelines aren’t too constricting. Like i said, for the one you draw for me, I don’t want to limit you, so portray the char/scene however you’d like, wearing whatever you’d like, but that’s just my suggestion. If you click on my bio page through my wyvern account, you’ll find in my profile a list of Trench Coats art links where you can see what I, and others, have drawn of the story so far. | |
| 27 Mar 2008 | Glo 'the Bug' Bowden | So, uh...when am I gonna get to see the Trench Coats picture? Ffranses ´Ffelix´ Medland replies: "on mah next ticket ^w^

| 29 Mar 2008 | Glo 'the Bug' Bowden | Oh. Ok. Sorry for the impatience. I thought it might have been on this last ticket but gotten rejected or something. I’m just way excited is all. | |
| 2 Jun 2008 | Glo 'the Bug' Bowden | Doot doot doo - - just thought I’d stop by to let you know that I’ve got a friend making a tour of TCLN art, in case you’re interested in getting your piece featured. *still waiting in nervous anticipation for Ms. Medland’s masterpiece* You’ve certainly left me in suspense, m’dear. | |
