This was made with my blue animation pencil and started out as a quick sketch that I worked out:) I was really happy with the movement of the picture and even happier that I pulled of the cats body:) It depicts a young woodcat in training for the national game, which is a sort of handball game. It's played with a wooden ball that has a large metal handle on it. It's played by two teams and the idea is to throw the ball to each other and try to get it into a goal:)

Whoa, the movement is amazing! I really get the feeling they're tearing around an arena or something... magnificent.

You're a talented artist, I can see you've got great drawing skills. I love this blue pencil pictures, they look so cool. The velociraptor's anatomy is awesome and you're right, you did get the pose of the woodcat well. Keep the good work =)

Uitwerken !!! I realy wish to see the final result. Promising...

:-) Frieda Van Raevels replies: "Lol2 Thanks!2I've got no plans yet to work this one out in colour, but when I've got a good day I'm gonna attempt doing some kind of frenzied action scene with the entire team2There are several breeds of cats and these ones live in the woods, but there's a breed that lives on the plains and they have horses as mounts..might be interesting to put them against each other in a tournament. The dino's would have speed as an advantage but the horses would be more flexible for the short turns and quick changes of direction..*ponders about it and grabs for pencil2*"
