This really is a fun piece. I like your choice of colors, personally. That tree is great! A touch of yellow in her dress would help the stars and moon stand out, I think. I love this picture.

She looks alright - though I can see what you mean by flatness - I can’t get my watercolors to be very three dimensional at all...probably because I haven’t been using them long
- But since you do drawing too, then what about drawing over this in pastels (or something else)? That could beef it up a bit, and with the chalky kind you could smooth it into the watercolor...
