Hey good luck getting published. I heard it's an uphill battle especially for first-timers, but don't give up. And I hope the horse gets better, a broken leg is really a bummer.

:-) Bethan Jones replies: "thanx. Rioya is recovering nicely from her opperation 2 and ur rite about the publishing 2"

Thanks for your comments! I think England is sweet. I am from the US, but my Mum's side of the family is Welsh-perhaps you noticed some Welshy elements of my story? Haha. Wow that's so inspiring to know that somewhere out there there's a teenager who's actually finished a book and is trying to get it published! That's been my dream since I was two feet tall. Wish you the best of luck!

I figured you were probably at least part Welsh because of your name (the Jones was a giveaway lol). No I haven't read those books, but I will when I have more time. I got lots of my names from online sites of Welsh names and from the people my grandma's friendly with. If only they knew...
The fantasy books/series I've read are: Lord of the Rings, Wheel of Time, Sword of Truth, and a Song of Ice and Fire. Oh, and I tried to add a "comment from the writer" but it didn't work so well...I feel so very inadequate...Ill figure it out eventually though.
I wont usually be on elfwood this much but I have lots of spare time because I'm home sick, exams just finished, and I am really excited because my story just got published. woot
Welsh pride! I'm also French and love France...but in America nobody likes the French. haha. peace out

Hehe, you live in England. I’ve always wanted to go there, but instead I’m stuck over here in the States. Actually, in the worst state too, with our horribly recessing economy. Any place in Europe would be interesting to visit, I think. You ever been to Rome? That sounds awesome.

Anyway, hey. I read one of your works and I’m really impressed by your writing. There are some people on this site who really don’t do a good job, but your stuff was above that. Congrats to you. Oh, btw, I’m 16 too. ~_^ Not such a bad age.

~Saya~

:-) Bethan Jones replies: "i think 16 is a very good age 1 but only a few months left before i turn 17

Do you want to swap locations? I’ve always wanted to go to the US... England is just boring with horrible weather. And yeah Rome does look fantastic! I’ve never been but i want to and i want to go to Venice as well... Paris is another beautiful city you should try if you ever get the chance (i’ve been there loads). Which state do you live in?"

lol I just turned 16, so you’re almost a year older than me.

Yes, lets definitely swap locations. Then I’ll actually get to see some of all those old famous buildings I’ve always wanted to see. The US is just really big. Takes forever to get anywhere. We have little history (at least not as much as England) over here. Just nice lakes. Lots and lots of lakes where I live. Michgian. Worst economy in the US right now. But we have lakes. 10

:-) Bethan Jones replies: "old buildings are the best ones... last summer i went to Tintagel Castle where King Arthur was supposedly born (you have heard of him in the states right?)... it was beautiful and so impressive... even if its only a ruin now there was something magical about it...

i like lakes too though 1 sailing!!!!!!"

I just got in to the woods and went reading your stories- which i think are great.

:-) Bethan Jones replies: "Welcome to the woods!!! I’m glad you like my stuff. Do you write or draw yourself???"
