Nice choice of colours...The red looks lovely and bright - against such a neutral choice for the fur and hair... CC...Perhaps you could at a little more shading here and there with darker shades of what you've used already? And I know style is a predominant aspect of your work - I feel at least - so perhaps what you've done was intentional, but with the grass: instead of colouring it sideways like you have, might I suggest using 'flick' like strokes with a number of different green pencils upwards? That way you'll get a nice grass effect and (with the different shades) depth and notable detail to your terrain...Oh, not with hills in the background though. I think it's best to leave those solid...Though despite that, it all comes down to personal preference in the end... Blue eyes look great! They really stand out against that fur colour. Nice one Steph! I love it when so much comes out of one picture...Our versions are so different...Very interesting… =) Stephanie a. j. king replies: "hehe i kinda put no thought or effort into grass.... thanx! ill use that next time i do a coloured pic!" | |
