The only thing I notice that is a bit off, is the length of her torso in comparison to the place where her waist joins the shoulders of the horse portion. But I still love it!!! Have yet to do a half-decent centaur of my own, so you are still a step above me. Keep up the GREAT artwork and stop by to visit my part of Elfwood in Gallery #38

14 Nov 1999	Lynn A Davis	Loading... Actually, it looks like the hips of the human portion join to the shoulders of the horse portion. That's how I do my centauriods as well since it helps blend them together. The long axis of the cross section of the human torso is perpendicular to the long axis of the cross section of the horse's neck, so by taking the human at the hips/buttocks you lessen the discrepancy between the two. Drawing centauriods can give an artist a headache in a hurry.

8 Mar 2000		Loading... Very nice! The only problem I can see is that, since the horse section of the body is so detailed, you might want to make the face a little more detailed.
