Cliodhna was an irish godness of beauty or a banshee queen, owning three magical birds who could heal the sick.

Cliodhna fell in love with a mortal and followed him to his world. But as often, there was no happy-ending for them: Manannan, god of the sea, created a huge wave that carried her back into the fairy world.
In another version she is drowning while sleeping at Glandore Bay, where the tide still is known as 'Cleena's Wave'.

I found many conflicting versions of the Cliodhna myth, but since they all agreed somehow there were birds and a wave, you can see both in the picture.
