From my books 'The Witchhunter Chronicles':

This picture is part of a series showing some of the different folks and races from my fantasy universe.
on the picture, you can see the original german name as used in the books.

Dwarves are subdivided in many different clans. most of them live underground and are skilled miners or craftsmen, but there are some dwarves who live next to the 'big people', especially humans, with whom they share some similarities. although dwarves are a bit gruff sometimes, they are also affectionate, yet pedantic people, who work hard and deliver excellent results.
