"Fallout: Chiano Omerta" by Aaryn Benny Kalis

This is Chiano Omerta, my Original Character based on one of the Fallout New Vegas casino families.

The reason why he doesn't look so pretty anymore is because his father found out that he had married a Ghoul woman instead of one that could bear him proper heirs to his Casino legacy.  That, and they were disgusted with the choice that the man had made for a life partner, viewing ghouls as corpses, and 'zombies'.

They killed her in front of him, pulling her body apart, and then set upon him with the knife that was used to kill her, cutting open his face with the irradiated knife. 

Three years later it never seemed able to heal properly.   I've decided that while he looks like he'd be an asshole, he's a real sweetheart, opening up Medical clinics, and running a safe haven for ghouls, much like Underworld.
