Angels playing

Up ahead

Demons fighting

‘neath the tread

God is smiling

At everyone

Never frowning

His will be done

Satan is shouting

His hatred heard

Plotting and scheming

With every word

We’re in the middle

Our pleas have died out

Not sure where to go

Left stranded about

I think you have a great talent for putting down words, and all that poetry, rhyming, bah, I have not the patience! Though I have a few poems on my site.. Shrugs slightly Keep up the work! Daniel Harris replies: "I was a christian once too. I have kind of lost my faith if you know what I mean. That is what this poem is really about."

I of course like this poem for the simple fact, like with most anything else, it touched me. Like the others mentioned, it makes you think. nice and angsty. Hmmmmm... this one is looking quite swipe-able. )
29 Nov 2002	Bethany	Loading... This is a really well written poem. It's so very true about constantly being at war with ourselves. I think it's kinda sad that you don't believe in God though. How did you lose your faith? I've never understood how someone can lose faith in God. But, the poem is very well written nonetheless. I hope you find what you're looking for. God Bless!
