| 6 Dec 2004 | Crystal Rose Gilleland | Loading...*Clears throat a bit* Great.. I'm agast at the one that commented before me, needless to say. As they say if you have any comments at least tell the artist what they could do to immprove. Other wise the comment is well useless, to be frank. Anyway! Okay so now my time to comment. I like this picture because what it may symbolize. Angels commonly reflect a great deal of emotion, despite if they are reglious or not. An image or ideal. As you kindly put it. It's natures Cycle. I love the outfit and the coloring, giving a white one was nice. Do you know what style it is? Either way they slightly look like robes with pants. Nice. I wonder if he would have looked different with lighter hair mabe? Who would expect light colored hair instead of black? Then if you wanted to keep the dark colored hair you could change the wings some, multicolored wings, or more then one symbolize sometimes more power. Oh and on the ground I think the grass should be shorter back to the distance.. and perhaps a darker shade of brown? For some reason it appears peach with blond hair. XD at least when I focused upon it. Okay..here's the negitives, not that the last one wasn't XD. The clothes seem to stick to his form, unless you were going for this.. then good ^-^. (That's only in the chest area, it would have a ripple or two though. At least I think) The face needs a bit of work, the foundation of a face doesnt seem to be there. The heads portions are a bit off as well. Hope you don't take offense ^-^O Other wise I would like to see this one a great deal, and hopefully in the future you'll remake it. Reow! Good job! >^-^< Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "Thank you very much. Now I have to reply your very long comment with a very long reply. JK. Yup. This is a very symbolic pic for me. First of all, I really love angels. And not because of their religious context, but for their look, power and mystery. The outfit was an experiment. I tried to make it a mixture between western and far eastern clothing. I think I accomplished something out there. Lighter hair would have been interesting indeed. But both wings and hair are black for a reason. The thing is I use to have this clear image of the characters I write. So it had to have black hair and black wings. And in fact the real character should have 4 wings instead of only 2. Because he is the Death Seraph. As for the background, I have to confess I was merelly playing around with some filters and plug ins. I just didn't wanted to leave him without a background. And of course the colors could be different, and it completelly lacks perspective. The cloths don't have folds because I tried them to be some sort of hard, thin fabric. Almost a sort of metal-hard one. That's why it looks as if it were "painted" over his body. I guess it looks weird indeed... Oh, the face did have a foundation. The problem was with the inking. It almost ruined all my hard work. Phew! And indeed I use to have problems with head proportions. It should be slightly smaller. No offense at all. Au contraire. You are allowed to criticize me as much as you want, as long as it is as worthy as this one. .....Remaking Morad... Interesting thought. May work. ^_^" | |
| 21 Jan 2005 | Crystal Rose Gilleland | Loading...Ah.. Heh I'm glad the comment was taken well. Now that you've mentioned such.. I can see what you were going for. If it's like a plate clothing, perhaps the stomach muscles would be less likely to be seen or defined? *Shrug* just me rambling again. Lol your welcomed to beat my drawings up too. XD They are not perfect.. Far from it. But aye I see it. Still like this one piece. ^-^ Any idea for remake? Jk. Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "Yup. As long as it is constructive critizism... Yeah, pretty much. More like a plate than a soft fabric." | |
| 18 Dec 2005 | Lina Kulikauskaite | Loading...I like this one very much^^ ...but I think the head is a bit too big and the nose is kinda weird... But it's still cool!!! Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "Thanks. First of all, I have already said that at the time I used to have a little problem with head sizes. I don't do them as overzises now. And I also mentioned that I had problems with the inking." | |
| 18 Dec 2005 | Lupis | Loading...I think it looks very cool, but the hair is somewhat strangely drawn. But Symbolism can take many different forms. Great job Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "Thank you. As with the clothing, this was an experiment. It was drawn like this on purpouse. I envisioned this character as an entity that is more concerned about his job than about taking care of his hair. So it had to be messy, dirty and greasy..." | |
| 13 Apr 2006 | Anonymous | Loading...It looks more like a warrior than the angel of death Is suppose............but it looks really good to!!!!! i love the wings!!!!!!they look freakin Awsome!!!! please keep up the good work! ^___^ Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "As I had said before, this is MY interpretation for the Angel of Death, in the multiverse of my creation... Thanks for the comment anyway." | |
| 22 Nov 2006 | Veronika 'Lawenta' Prokesova | Loading...For someone supposedly without feelings, he looks pretty angry. Well, I would be angry, too, being considered heartless Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "He is not angry... Well, maybe a little. That is the problem of working for a God of Death who believes that Death should be absolutelly neutral and objective..." | |
| 30 Sep 2008 | Con-artist | Loading...uuuuuhhhh,what?im sorry, but this pic is just ,well,AWFUL.i can see what youre going for,and i dig the idea, but the picture........ Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "Uhm... Care to elaborate some more? It doesn’t really help me if you don’t say which part you didn’t like. I was not as good as I am now at digital coloring back then, so if the problems are about the technique, I could understand it." | |
