Your inking is also very nice and clean. I myself really like to draw armor, I usually go get as much reference as I can on image search engine and then inspire myself from bits and part of the pic I saw. This could come handy if you're doing another someday! The text depiction of the warrior is also real nice and impressive. Great pic! And BTW, thanks for commenting my art trade with Judit Smith in her gallery! Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "Thanks a lot... I like his headgear too. As for my reference, I'd bet no one is able to know where did I take it from. (It is a secret, and I'd like to see if anyone actually can guess.)"

I'm curious whether you use and develop the idea of them in some story, it would be interesting to read/hear more about them. I like the mask (if it is a mask) with those feathers or what it is, looking like willow foliaged sticks. It reminds me of ritual masks of some indigenous people - much to my shame, I don't know which one, but I think some of the features are used widely. Considering the rest of the armor... some of the great Indian civilizations...? Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "Yeah! They are part of one of my stories. Eventually I will come with a way of telling it. Anyway, it is a mask. But the feathers are not a part of the mask. They belong to the "headress". The outfit (the headress, the armor and stuff) is based on the Aztecs. I had this "Mexican Art History" and I liked the way they looked, so I just "converted" it into metallic fantasy stuff. ^_^"
