| 1 Sep 2004 | Pete Tzinski | Hey-der ho-der, you clearly need some comments. I went through your work and I must admit, I do enjoy your poetry. Your verse and ryhme are both in sync, which is something that sometimes can be a trick (I can attest to it: I've got a dusty old folder chock-full of my own poetry in the closet). I should very much like to see you write a lengthy narrative poem. A ballad, a saga, you know? With your style, you could very well tell a story in the same manner as the epic, "Beowulf," and I should very much enjoy reading it. Something to consider. Aaron Fredericks replies: "Thanks for your comment, Pete. I have considered doing some longer poems, if not as stand-alones then as something to include in a story (sort of like all those wonderful little songs of Tolkein). Right now I'm focusing more on some short stories and novels that I hope to get published. As soon as I'm able I'll put the first chapters of the novels up for perusal. Thanks!" | |
