	Isn't Violator one of the most creative shapes of 'monster' ever? I've heard that design was first meant to be Spiderman's foe 'Venon', but Marvel didn't like it, so good old Todd used it in Spawn (can't confirm it though). Anyway, for all you Todd's fans out there.

18 Jul 2003	Jin	Loading... i love your violator pic. how long did it take u to draw this? i hope to see a picture of spawn soon, in his long red cape hint hint ^_^ i like all the detail u put into his pincers and his millions of teeth. and venom and violator DO look alike. i'm also a todd fan, especially of spawn and spiderman. keep up the great work, i love your stuff and i hope u continue to draw. Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " Thanks, Jin. I don't recall exactly how long it took me to draw this - this is a really old one - but I do know it didn't take a specially long time. Anyway, I don't have plans of drawing a spawn for now, but I do have some old ones ready. Maybe I'll upload one."
24 Sep 2003	Josh debruycker	Loading... too bad todd doesnt draw spawn cause the artist they have right now is really cartooning the comic book lately. to bad you wern't drawing for mcfarlanes you could actually do it some justice....cool eyes on the spider or bug!! the artist on spawn is LAME and should be drawing mickey mouse for gosh sakes spawn is a creature not a disney wanna be.. oh please someone help that book. Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " I haven't seen spawn comics in a while, and the last artist I saw was Greg Capullo... Did they let the art standard deteriorate? It's a pity, because spawn is really a great caracther..."
