	Well, I just had this idea about a very Gothic set of wings that I figured would look cool.

I'm glad to see that someone came up with a slight variation on the standard "strap-on" wings that a lot of sci-fi or fantasy artists have sort of turned into a cliche. Very nice work. Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " Well, I was not exactly trying to be a revolutionary, but if my little attempt has indeed contributed to the everlasting effort of widening the variety of sci-fi images, that can only makes me extra-happy."
13 Apr 2003	Kirsten Niliphim Cartoski	Loading... Wow. Excellent piece. I adore the design, but the pose is perfect for showing off the outfit. Gosh, this character could inspire an entire storyline for a comic book. Do you have a story behind this guy? Keep up the great work! Kudos! Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " Actually, I don't. The idea simply flashed in my mind and I drew it. No plans for great storytelling behind it. Oh, well, perhaps one day I'll create something of that sort. ;-)"
18 Apr 2003	Michelle L. Vinyard	Loading... This is very beautiful. I love the movement the picture has and the detail in the bands. He looks like he is gliding...rather than flying... would love to see this with a background. Good job! Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " Well, I never actually drew a background for THIS pic, but I have a whole new "darkbird" pic ready to be submited anytime now. As soon as my current ticked is passed through, I'll post the new one."
