Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " Hehehe. Well, most of my drawings involve the human figure, so I guess that's what I can do better... hence the mucles being all right. I still have plenty to learn about it, anyway... Oh, and thanks for the comment. " | |
| 2 Apr 2003 | Thomas G. Bates | Loading...More goat than horse, I think. Looks good. I think yours looks more malevolent than Ciaran's. Welcome to Elfwood! Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " Hehehehe. Well, I guess that a goat is just as good a guess as a horse. I suppose that just Ciaran can tell for sure. Thanks for the comment, anyway." | |
| 4 Apr 2003 | Leah Yerpe | Loading...Well whatever she is, she's very cool. Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " Maybe not knowing what she is helps her to be cool. kinda like "oh, look at that misterious thing"..." | |
| 9 Apr 2003 | Emily C. Song | Loading...It's pooka, actually... Very mean spirit thing, but it's half goat.. I'm not sure how i know this. This is an amazing piccy, i love the shading and the way the hair flows. Her face and posture look very real and natural. *gallops away* i wanna pooka!!! Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " Well, looks like Ciaran had inspired himself in an actual mythological characther. I'll ask him if it's indeed a p(h)ooka what he meant to represent. Anyway, I think I'll look for them in the net. Now you people really got my curiosity going." | |
| 9 Apr 2003 | Belgium dragon | Loading...I think they call this a phooka. Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " Really? Well, I guess phooka is just as good name as any. Well, perhaps a little weird, but being weird fits the pic, right?" | |
| 10 Apr 2003 | Slavin | Loading...Nice to see this up, Fred! I can say that this hybrid character is from a fantasy graphic novel I am working on. This creature is actually a member of a supposedly extinct alien race, who many ages ago, came to the world in which my story is set. Fred done a superb job of capturing the essence of the creature! Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " So there you have it, ladies and gentleman; It's not a p(h)ooka, it's an Alien. Thanks for clearing this up, pal. Oh, by the way, whoever want to see how his original looks like, just use the link and drop by in his gallery; it's featured in there, and it actually were a mod's choice." | |
| 13 Apr 2003 | Steph Steph Salt | Loading...What ever she is, she looks very good. I would love to see it in colour! Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: " The very first attempt to color something in the computer that I made was in that exact drawing. Unfortunately, photoshop crashes in my computer, and when I got the paintshop pro I already had other fish to fry. Maybe one day I'll colour it, though..." | |
| 30 Jun 2003 | Energy | Loading...How original! Horsewomen are very rare, you know... Love the picture and the pose! And the hair especially! Frederico Lyra Chagas replies: "I guess you are right... except for this pic and the one in Ciaran's gallery, i think I never saw another horse woman. Thanks for the comment, BTW." | |
