	This is an ink wash I did based on a character from Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. This picture shows Gratch in a rather pensive mood...

1 Mar 2009	Chandelin	Loading... I think that is just how Gratch should look but I imagined the neck a little longer. You should draw some more of the creatures form the SoT serries!

25 Sep 2009	Matt	Loading... This would look amazing with a few more layers of ink on it. Focus on where your light source is, and if necessary get an action figure of similar shape posed like that - it’ll give you at least a basic idea of the values. Maybe put some dark accents on it. The neck, as stated, could be a little longer, but what anatomy we can see appears to be intact. Possibly deltoid/tricep issues. If this is to be a daytime scene, I’d rank this one higher than the desert barbarian. The trees in the background and the smaller one branching out from behind the rock are well done. Matt.
