This is a picture of a Mriswith, from Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. I was actually debating whether or not I should post this, because I'm not entirely satisfied with it. I really messed up on the cape, and the colors are pretty boring. But other than that I think it's okay.

*jaw drops* when I saw the title I was thinking "no way could somebody draw a mriswith..." but it came up and sure enough, it's a mriswith! I like how it actually looks like it used to be human, (cuz thats what mriswith used to be, right? wizards? yea.) SO SPOOKY! it's like, it's supposed to be all happy and bright, but- HOLY CRAP MRISWITH AAAAAAAAAAH!!! *death* hehehe I like it!!! ^_^

Your talented, but to me this does not really show a mriswith... Sorry to be so mean, maybe I shouldn't have commented...

SWEET! I drew a mriswith recently, but I got the knives wrong. (it was the very next day that I read some description in Blood of the Fold that fixed my mental image) I’ll probably post it sometime. Anyway I LOVE this one! The yabree are perfect, and I love the mriswith’s anatomy.

(edit)
There we go, mriswith all posted! Hope you’ll come have a look whenever. ^_^

in the middle of the blood of the fold... (wow im the 1st to comment in nearly 7 years) but anyway, awesome. I didnt really have a mental mriswith pic, but now I do. This is awesome. And richard p, it specifically stated in the book that yabrees had crosswise handles, anyway, this pic is really fantastic

Yeah,it is pretty good. a couple of suggestions, though. In the books, they didn’t wear the hoods, and also the capes were black. The Mriswith have a sort of blend of man and snake to their heads. otherwise, it is spot on
