| 19 Dec 2003 | Keri "Aidan" | Loading...Hey! Annika no matter how many times I look at this it is ALWAYS beautiful...^^ I showed my friends, and they said you did a fantastic job! Your piccy I'm drawing is coming, my scanner has been broke and between school and stuff @.@ I'm going insane. Uh she isn't chunky and what if she was? 0o is there a problem in that? Anywho, thanks again Annika ^^ I promise my part is coming!! **huggles and runs off* Annika Freyah Nilsen replies: "Hiya! I'm so very happy you (and your friends) like this image. ^_^ She was a bit of trouble to color but I learned some new stuff in the process which I wouldn't have if I hadn't tried. I can't wait to see what you have drawn for me and I totally feel for you with the whole scanner thing. I was scanner-less for a whole year before I managed to scrape together enough money to get a new one. So good luck to ya! ^_^" | |
| 24 Dec 2003 | Max "Spirit" galex_x@hot...com> | Loading...That pic of Aidan is awesome and don't make fun of my mother XP And she dont look chunky at all o.o She looks "Real" almost exactly like i pictured her in my head for the last 2 years o.o Anyway.... Awesome Job ^.^ I wish I could draw at all! Annika Freyah Nilsen replies: "I don't think she looks chunky either, I don't know how realistic she actually is but I always try to draw people with enough body to actually have room for such things as internal organs. *lol* Aaaanyways, I'm really glad you like her, thanks for commenting. ^_^" | |
| 1 Jan 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...Hi Aidan Asha... you certainly have a wonderful ability to make your works into true art. I have a few suggestions for this picture only, they being 1. the string on the bow would most likely be inside her arm I would believe after contemplating the fact that she is likely right handed, from the placement of her dagger. 2nd. the thumb placement might be more comfortable up or on our side of the bow. (not that important I guess, but thought I would share that with you anyways) and most important point... 3rd ly. was I figured out why the arms look a bit like pods, and that was that the upper arms had one to many bubbles for muscle areas, there should only be 2 then the elbow crease then the forearm...which could be a tad bit longer on each. Keep up your magnificent works and I hope you always continue to have fun too. Annika Freyah Nilsen replies: " Eh, I'm not Aidan Asha...*points at picture*...she is... As for your advice: 1 - She's not actually using the bow right now, just showing it, so the placement of the string is not that vital. But I'll keep that in mind for my next archer. ^_~ 2 - Again, just showing it, maybe in the process of picking it up or putting it down. But not ready to shoot. But I'' keep this in mind also. 3 - Hmm, you're absolutely right, I tried this out on another drawing I'm sketcking on and it looks MUCH better. Thanks! ^_^ Thank you for your comment and advice, you've given me quite a lot to think about and I'm very grateful. *smiles*" | |
| 2 Jan 2004 | Keri "Aidan Asha" D. | Loading...Sorry had to fix my above message....its a short sword..and to above messages she is an Archer...lead on and a kingdom I rp in. anyways..yeah o.o;; Annika Freyah Nilsen replies: "Ah, further clarifications. Thanks, when I read "dagger" in your above comment I went all: " Oh no, that's not a dagger in the image, I can't belive I messed that up". *lol*" | |
| 2 Jan 2004 | Keri "Aidan Asha" D. | Loading...Heh, I've seen my "son's" picture on Devin Annika...give yourself more credit. You draw everything great. As to Anonymous, my character Aidan Asha is left handed she rarely uses the daggar it was a gift so she doesn't mess it up XD. Anyways..just thought I'd say that..lol. Annika Freyah Nilsen replies: "Well, thank you very much, I'm really glad you like that image too. ^_^ But it WAS hard to draw and I got lucky in alot of the image. *laughs* Thanks for clearing the left/right handed thingy out. Although if I'd know the sword was a gift I might have made it more ornamental. Oh well. ^_^" | |

You are definitly one of the better artists i've seen. Annika Freyah Nilsen replies: "*falls of chair from laughing too hard* Oh man, that just made my day! Anyways, I'm glad you like it and thanks for the comment, it was really funny!" | |
| 16 Dec 2004 | Xantinal DreamWalker | Loading...The bag behind her looks like a sad chicken sitting down. or perhaps a dead one ^^..anyway great pic =). Annika Freyah Nilsen replies: " *confused...looks at bag...!* Mwahahahahaha! | 8 Jul 2005 | Weird13yearold that is obssesed w/d&d | Loading...just thought i would let you know that a "dark elf" is a drow.(there is a D&D book all about drow habits and religion. i've read part of it. it's very informative)her arms do kinda look like pods but over all it's a great pic. i think that you would really enjoy playing D&D. it's very fun. i've just started playing 3rd addition. lots a fun! =D -weird13yearold- p.s. also, drow do not cut their hair. their hair is a way to show their rank. (look at the dark elf trilogy. my dad reads the books to us when we go on long trips. you will learn a lot about the drow race) Annika Freyah Nilsen replies: "Well, I have to admit I don't know much about fantasy lore, I just draw stuff in my head and occasionaly what people ask me. So I can take neither credit nor blame for how she brakes the drow rules. ^_^ " | |
| 30 May 2006 | Asha Hall | Loading...Absolutely wicked. I wish I could draw like you. Annika Freyah Nilsen replies: "Add pen to paper, repeat. ^_^" | |
