Part of a larger drawing that I had to crop of to be able to have some quality left. On the larger picture she's looking up at a ship sailing on the surface of the ocean.

I must have changed colorsheme on this one at least twenty times before I finaly setteled on this one.

The colors were a bit weak and the contrast was non-existent do I decided to revamp it.

P.S.
The larger version with the boat will be posted in my Zone gallery once I have enough images to warrant an update there. ^_^

Love how ya got the hair to floatish instead of hanging strait down. But would her tail really have what looks to me like a knee joint? Glad ya like the hair, why would it hang straight down when she's underwater anyways? Unless she would be swimming very fast upwards that is... Why could she not have a knee joint? I's imagine it gives her some added dexterity. Considering how many strange cretures that lives in the sea I'm sure one with a knee joint would not get in the top ten weirdest list. ^_~"

Indeed, the part I cropped out of this image cointained a sinking ship that this mermaid had wrecked cause she did not aprove of the oil that leaked out. just goes to show how different people imagine things. ^_^"
