SciFi and Fantasy Art Angel of Death by Kristoffer Frisk

The angel of death. Made this one for the free-hand pixel compo at Krangparty 10. Won the 'Viewers Choice Award'. Added August 7, 2004: I think I have to clarify some things.. ..first of all, I made this one with Photoshop 7 using a Wacom Volito tabet. it took about 3 months to finish (the original is HUGE nd VERY detailed). Second: The latin text say: 'Nec mortem effugere quisquam nec amorem potest' which means 'No one is able to flee from death or love' (that should answer all questions about what the heart in the bowl symbolises).
