This is a poster that is hanging on my wall at the moment done on cheap-o grocery store poster board with cheap-o oil pastel thingys. In reality it is really between 2 and 3 feet long and wide. I couldn't scan it so this is a picture and yes I know the lighting is bad and you can see the tape holding it to the wall. Comments?

The tongue is the coolest part. I don't know why, but it is! So anyway, I really like it, I like the pose. I really like it!!

36 L. ´Frog´ Janas replies: "  I didn't realize everyone would like the tounge so much..... Haha! Thank you! "

That's really cool! I love it, the coloring is pretty good, too. Keep it up!

36 L. ´Frog´ Janas replies: "  Thank You - The coloring took forever so I'm glad it came out good......."

Wooo DRAGON!!!!!!!

Ahem. Got a little over excited there. This is easily my favourite out of your works though (I might be slightly biased...). The proportions of this dragon are great, I love the huge claws, and the curviness of the tail and tongue. Lovely bright vivid colouring too. Nothing to criticise at all really. Love it!

36 L. ´Frog´ Janas replies: "  And best of all - no scales! Thrilled you like it!"

Pretty dragon! I like the curl of the tail, you handled that really well. I'm terrible at dragons. 2

My only suggestion would be to work with a little more shading; remember dragons have muscles just like any other lizard and that that means there are areas that pop out, show lights and darks, and so forth! Shading is really hard in color, and I'm not very good at it myself, but there are some artists around elfwood that handle it very well indeed.

Keep up the great, fearless artwork. 2

36 L. ´Frog´ Janas replies: "  Hmm, usually I would have attempted shading with color (I stink in black and white - I know that's weird) but I was using a set of about ten colors and I was a little limited on the shading... Thanks for the comment!"

This really looks just like something out of an old, old book. The flat colors, the large thin eye, the long hanging tongue, and the curling tail. I really enjoy this piece; great work!

36 L. ´Frog´ Janas replies: "  Hmmm, flat? I think that is a compliment..... I am glad you like it. Update: This picture has been laminated at my local office supply store o.O and it is all shiny and on my wall now..... Yay!"

Mind-blowing. The image absolutely owns the page. There's a very dramatic feeling everywhere in the picture... the wings and the head especially, and that long tongue completes it.

36 L. ´Frog´ Janas replies: "  Wow! Thank You!"

It's really dramatic - he looks like he's crouched ready to lunge! My favourite parts are his eyes and his gaping jaws!

36 L. ´Frog´ Janas replies: "Hehe, thanks!"
