Tag As FavoriteComment		This is my latest. A autumnal wood fairy suspended in a stand of silver birches, just turning inward at sunset. The fairy is painted in watercolour and the birches are done by photoshop with reference to some photos of silver birches i have. They're not terribly realistic, but then again, I'm not very experienced =)

This is probably one of my favourites of yours. I don't know if it is intentional or not but I like the abstractness of this piece. It's like she's in another dimension, sliding into ours. Also the colours are very beautiful.

I love the colors that you used in this, especially for the wings. I’m glad that the birch trees aren’t really realistic, the way that you have them makes them blend well with the rest of the composition. If they were realistic they would clash with the drawing of the fairy.
