SciFi and Fantasy Art Watertalk by Lisha Fu

I drew this a couple of years back. There is no real story behind this picture, although the theme is the difficulty of communication between men and women. Two lovers are speaking to each other underwater. I think of them as water fairies, dryads, nymphs, or what you will. What they are saying is yes and no, in different languages. The girl in the bubble is an observer. She too, contemplates on her relationships, confused by miscommunication.
