For the hair ...
When drawing hair, don’t think of one line, one hair. Drawing hair is nothing more than shading so the hair will highlights (light spots) and shadows (dark regions). If you got a idea of what the hair should look like go back and shade in the hair, but take your time. Use cross-hatching for really dark areas if you are drawing with pen.
For your shading...
You have good drawing skills but slow down and take your time with shading in your images. Use cross-hatching for darker areas like the edge of her chin, under her chin close to her ear. Keep you pen strokes short. Marieke Leen replies: "It’s a very late reply but: thank you, you really give me good advice " | |
