SciFi and Fantasy Art Álàntúr: Version One (obsolete) by Fyrius (Fery Camillus)

A pretty old interpretation of an Álàntúr, i.e. an ancient god-like being of Lakorian/Fyrian mythology. Perhaps I'll change the way they look later on.
I'll add a quotation from my summary to explain the background of this creature.

'LAKORIAN MYTHOLOGY: THE BEGINNING OF EARTH
In Lakorian mythology, there isn't any beginning of all reality; reality has always existed in some way, constantly changing. At some point, there was a universe consisting entirely of water and air, like an inifinite sea.
From the water came the mystic creatures known as the Álàntúr. These Álàntúr possessed the skill to convert any material to energy and vice versa.
Out of water, they created a huge spherical structure, which would become their lair. The structure was placed at the surface while being mainly under water, so a small upper part of it would be dry.
After that, they created a number of weightless, light emitting orbs of pure energy (the sun and the stars) and one orb of an elsewhere unexistent material that could emit light for a given time, after which it would have to recharge (the moon). These orbs were set in motion to travel in circles around the earth at the same speed, being half of the time under water and half of the time in the air. The brightest of these orbs (i.e. the sun) was powerful enough to light all the air that was visible from the earth.
Finally, the Álàntúr released a number of life forms on the dry part, including the more intelligent human beings.'
