SciFi and Fantasy Art Nasfanian Vehicle by Fyrius (Fery Camillus)

A sketched design of a vehicle that I was going to use in a later drawing at the time of making. (This later one is finished now as well; see here)
The only thing I have to say about this is that the door opens upwards, on a hinge all the way on top of the vehicle, like the glass dome of the cockpit of most Nasfanian one-person spacecraft. I suppose the engineers inventing this vehicle thought that would be useful/cool/easy to produce.

17 Jul 2007	John R Farley Jr	Loading... Nice design, I could use one of these. The type of door you are referring to is a "gull wing door." Fyrius (Fery Camillus) replies: "Thanks for commenting. I Wikipedia'd "gull wing door", but that's not exactly what I mean. Such doors seem to come in symmetrical pairs of two and open to the sides and up, but this door is supposed to open in one piece with the front end pointing upward. But thanks for your input anyway. "
