"Pearl Height" by Fyrius (Fery Camillus)

This part of Dreamworld is basically a great void scattered with these huge floating stones. These stones gleam in a pearly white colour, and show slight transparency and prismatic colour patterns if cut into thin shards, giving them the name 'Pearlstones', and the area they float in 'Pearl Height'. The material Pearlstone is completely unaffected by any degree of gravity, and is practically immovable if united in large quantities, explaining the fact that the stones are floating.
Far below the stones (far as in lightyears away) is one huge planet, the immense gravity and atmosphere of which extend many lightyears. Because of this, the air pressure and gravity at Pearl Height are similar to that of Earth. In other words, one can breathe and walk normally on the stones by Earth standards. Just don't fall off.
Thousands of suns and moons orbit around the huge planet, in such a way that there is almost always one or more suns lighting the stone level. A consequence of this pattern is that Pearl Height has absurdly many and very different seasons, as well as no distinct day and night.
This part of Dreamworld was colonized aeons ago by the Tsáärá:èn. Because of the weightless and sturdy nature of the Pearlstones, as well as their shining texture, they cut the upper halves off the stones to use the gleaming material for jewelry and the construction of their spaceships. On the newly made surfaces they would build their temples, residences and mining colonies. The colonizers eventually encountered the season where no sun lights Pearl Height, and partially died of cold and partially moved out, leaving behind their buildings.
