A detailed image of a one-person spacecraft known as a Swarmfighter.
Swarmfighters are escorting forces that travel with larger spaceships, to protect them against attacks. The Fighters are usually stored in the hangar bay of the ship until it is attacked or expected to be attacked, and their pilots live with the ship's crew. This is because space travel by human vehicles can take very long, and one can't expect the pilots to tag along nailed to their Fighters' chairs and eating tube goo for weeks or months if one has perfect accomodations on board. Swarmfighters usually fight in squadrons, or "swarms", of twenty or more Fighters, one of which is the swarm leader that tells the swarm what to do.

The Fighter is equipped with three rocket launchers (one on each wing, as you can see) that fire homing missiles, enabling the pilot to open fire on targets even at extreme distance. Their thrust is provided by one large and four smaller rocket engines; the larger is in the middle on the hull and two of the smaller are on each wing. The smaller engines can be tilted in every direction, which is used to steer the Fighter.
The controls consist of two control columns at the ends of the elbow-rests of the chair, which control the direction of the smaller engines. Each column also has two buttons (at the thumb and index finger), one for firing the rocket launchers and one for activating/deactivating the smaller engines on the left or right wing. Furthermore, the cockpit has a control panel that extends to hang above the pilot's lap. On the control panel is a screen displaying what can also be seen outside, but indicating which target the rockets will home in on and such. On the panel are also the controls to activate/deactivate the main engine, to control the Fighter's speed, to deactivate any of the rocket launchers, to extend a protective shield in front of the windows if the pilot expects the glass to break, and some other functions.
The pilot wears an armor-like vest and boots that connect to the back of the chair and to the floor, to keep the pilot in the chair in zero gravity environments or worse. Oxygen is supplied via a mask that also has built-in communication hardware, enabling the swarm to have constant real-time contact, which is a crucial thing because the twenty or more pilots need to coöperate perfectly.

Not very graceful,eh? I hope this ship is as massive as it looks, if so, I would want one. This ship looks like it could take a major beating without much damage. Its weapons look pretty powerful too.
