| 17 Mar 2009 | Ryan Peers | Loading...interesting style you have...a cross between Royo, Bisely and Franzetta. the only problem i have with your art( witch IS really good) is that i have seen all these before, or close enough. You have talent but you need a different angle. Robert Michael Gaito replies: "Thank you for the feedback Ryan. I’m a fan of all three artists that you mention. (Although I think Bisley’s women are a little to muscular and overly defined. IMO) Could you be a little more specific about seeing these before, or close to it? The character is original so I’m assuming your refering to the composition or pose. Thanks again." | |
| 17 Mar 2009 | '' AlpineBob '' | Loading...Great stuff! Never saw Brimstone, but The Adventures of Briscoe County, & Tru Calling were great shows, sure enough. Shame that Life on Mars & Battlestar Galactica are ending.
I’m not sure what Ryan is going on about. Good Girl art is a classic genre! Anyway, the whole point of art is to go where your muse takes you - sometimes your inspiration will be reminiscent of other artists, but unless you found a whole new school of art that is going to be impossible to avoid anyway...
Regardless, hope to see more stuff from you soon. Robert Michael Gaito replies: "Thanks for the comments Alan. If you can, check out Brimstone. (Si-Fi channel runs repeats, and I think it is available on DVD) It’s about a good cop that was sent to Hell when he died and now has a chance at redemption by becoming the Devils bounty hunter. John Glover plays the devil, it’s great ." | |
