My husband, a friend, and I were writing this email story. We each had a character, and we enjoyed it immensely. Davy, our friend, played the young girl who is pouting so prettily. She was an assassin for hire, from a town that bred nothing but merceraries. She had been framed for something she didn't do, and there was a huge bounty on her head.
The problem happened when Steve's character, the one standing, suddenly remembered where he had seen the girl's face before. He was a bounty hunter, you see, and had seen her headshot on a wanted poster.
My character, the sitting man, was the glue holding the group together. I needed both of them alive to help me find artifacts that would unlock the meaning of my life. I wouldn't allow him to take the girl in for money, even if I needed to threaten him with blowing his secret: he was not actually a HE, but a SHE in disguise!
Sounds complicated? You'd have to read the whole story to find out what I'm talking about. ^_^
