I really like this one. Most people find it disturbing, but then again, most people would.

The agony, heartbreak and abandonment I see speak volumes! I think she is spectacular!

It is a little disturbing, but i don't like the hair or wings. The coloring of the hair and wings seems out of place.

Not disturbed, just surprised. Don't usually see fairies nailed down like that. I guess thats what happens to fairies that try to do good deeds or some sillyness like that in an evil warlords castle.

I like juxtapositions, It's kind of a theme with me. Beauty and the beast, innocence and torture, evil and innocence. Even after all these years I'm still proud of this one.
It speaks to me on new levels every time I view it.
Draconis had it right, though.

That is actually what it's about.

Aiyeeee! o.o ...Very frightening. But, just as much because of how deeply it reaches out to a compassionate place in my heart as what's actually drawn. It seems so immediate... so significant... so real... that I can't ignore her pain. And that's kind of scary in itself.

I had to go back and read some of the other comments on this. And now, I've got to say, if the religious reference was intentional, I have no doubt at all that this piece was expressing reverence and understanding for the sacrifice of Christ rather than mocking him. ...Wow, here I am talking like a Christian. I'm not one, just in case I'm confusing anyone here. But something this startling and moving mocks nothing, weeps for much. In a metaphorical sense.

If I found a hot, naked, fairy like that, I know what I would do....
