SciFi and Fantasy Art Melancholy Angel by Gayle M. Bird

I began this drawing after I found out my loan had been refused. :( I couldn't get it right tho, until, ironically, the art professor at McKenzie gave his first lesson. [I'm appealing the loan, pray for me]... <br> And yes, I know the proportions aren't right, but I couldn't do it, and I decided to leave it that way. Hey, it's fantasy, she's in proportion to HERSELF, isn't she? Doesn't have to be HUMAN proportion... :)

4 Feb 1999	Duwolfe	Loading... I love the composition in this picture. I don't think that the proportions being off should really matter. To me, this picture looks very abstract. You were able to get the essence of the feeling of melancholiness ( is that a word?) perfectly. The composition, as I said, is really good. The eye has a great flow of movement to play with.
