yeah, um.... I really have nothing else to say other than I don't think it's a ripoff of Mai at all, and I have great respect and love for Genevieve's work. We've know each other for a quite a while.

How can you say she's copying art? Look through the WHOLE gallery and everything, level of skill, styles, everything, is fairly consistant. Why would Genn copy someone else's art on TWO pictures when she can produce the kind of artwork that's getting mod's choice awards and looks so freaking awesome all across the board? If you look through the WHOLE gallery, you'd also notice she's VERY good about giving credit where it's due when other people drw the picture.

I think a little common sense if called for here, huh? If Elfwood even gives this Anon (i agree on the lameness of making threats without proof OR a name) the time of day, i will pretty much lose what respect for them I have left.

The angle of the head, structure of the head, the similar hair, eyes and eyebrows, and the curl of the mouth, and transparency of the hair.

The cheekbones, angle of the head, angle of the lips, slope of the brow, the seashell and thing dangling on the forehead, the slant of the eyebrows as well as the hair.

These are the indications that led me to believe that the work was copied.

They seemed TOO similar, and happened on multiple instances. The thing about Elfwood is that the artwork has to be 100% an artists, and this looks a bit copied, but I admit, I could be wrong. That's why I held off on the contacting bit - I wanted you to be able to defend your work. All throughout this gallery, the art looks very similar to Aimee's style and that could be attributed to the same influence.

So if I am wrong, I am sorry for causing a disturbance in your life.

First fo all Anon. Did you really look at Aimee's picture, and Genn's? I see some similarities, such as the hair and eyes. But will you persecute every artist who draws the same hair and eyes as another? Another is that it's appearant Genn is a friend of Aimee's, so she wouldn't have copied. So I wonder about that training you have had.....As for the picture, it looks awesome! I love how you make a child look so cute.....yet so evil and sinister!

I am writing a book and one of my character's name is Arien. I came up with that name so it surprised me to see you have it. The exact same spelling and all.

Looks a lot like Griselda the little witch from Julie Rocheleau's work.
